About the Role:
As a Flooring & Design Sales Consultant / Material Selections Coordinator, you’ll bridge the worlds of design, sales, and restoration.
You’ll guide homeowners through material selections after a property loss, help retail customers transform their homes, and work with project managers to ensure every detail runs smoothly — from design concept to delivery.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thrives on relationships, results, and responsibility.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive new flooring, cabinetry, and finish material sales through relationships, referrals, and showroom traffic.
- Meet with insurance restoration clients to review scopes of work, adhere to budgets, and guide them through flooring and finish selections.
- Create 3D cabinet renderings and layout designs that bring each project to life.
- Order materials, manage vendor communication, and notify project managers when deliveries arrive.
- Negotiate with suppliers to reduce costs and improve pricing.
- Maintain showroom samples, pricing, and merchandising displays.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, estimators, and homeowners to ensure smooth project execution.
- Participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives to grow our customer base.
What You Bring:
- Proven sales success in flooring, cabinetry, remodeling, or home design (3+ years preferred).
- Understanding of insurance restoration or construction project workflows.
- Strong design and 3D rendering skills (2020 Design, SketchUp, or similar).
- Excellent organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Skilled in negotiation, cost control, and vendor management.
- Confident communicator who builds trust with clients and coworkers alike.
- Self-motivated, driven, and goal-oriented — you know how to make things happen.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
